In Minneapolis, nurseries are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Minnesota, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Check the listing for hours, seasonal closures and Google rating before you go.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Minneapolis is in Minnesota, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Minneapolis follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I bought a milkweed plant here last year after talking with one of the staff who seemed confident and knowledgeable about the plants and as a beginner in gardening I felt like I could follow their advice with how confident they were. I did inform them that I live in an apartment and planned to keep the plant on the balcony in a pot and they never mentioned any concern with this. They also informed us of their warranty where if a perennial doesn’t come back in the spring you can bring the plant back to return for a refund or exchange (with no mention that the plant must be planted in the ground for them to honor the warranty). Now fast forward a year later, my plant did not come back in the spring so I brought the plant back to see if they could let me know what went wrong and honor the warranty they mentioned. The manager and employee had both blamed us for taking the advice of one of their employees and in their explanation of perennials needing to be planted into the ground not potted to come back spoke to me very rudely and made me feel stupid for thinking that a potted perennial plant would come back… It felt pretty humiliating being talked down to in this way in front of other

This store has really lovely plants and gift items. Lots of artsy things. Would be a good place to pick up a hostess gift, stocking staffers for a gardener, etc. I was surprised at the plant prices, but that may just be supply chain and inflation issues and the fact that I haven't been shopping for plants in a while. If you like plants and gardening, its definitely worth a stop and the store is really cute.

Great outdoor Christmas market with ice blocks as candle holders lining the walkways. Adorable Swiss calf and Santa photo ops. Variety of vendors with jewelry, pottery, and Tangletown garden items inside the store. Beautiful decorations alongside burning vertical logs with fragrant smoke wafting through the aisles. Hard to notice the cold temperature during such a festive event. Magical!
